If it's a high heel, use a pad (lie foot petals) to cushion the ball of your foot to keep it from sliding forward into the toe. If it's a flat shoe, try using a thick insole (like Dr. Scholl's gel ones) to fill your shoe.

You can always get some of the Dr. Scholls things. They help fill out shoes. Especially if you get some that are longer than your feet.

why did you buy 9's? If you buy one size larger then the arch will not be in the right place and you may trip and twist your ankle.
Stuff them with an insole.
