Well its k to be nervous, well call him up and be like Hey whatcha doin, u no treat him like u would a normal friend,!! so make sure ur voice is calm and dont make it be known that u are nervous, and make sure to be the one to say bye, first , it will make him want to talk to u MORE!!

Call him in the Evening, and ask him about how his day went, and what happened in his life. And don't call more than once daily, just to talk. Also, don't listen to that woman that is talking about the "chasing" crap. I'm a guy, and I think thats stupid.

Dont listen to the first comment...most guys love when a girl does the chasing. I think its actually pretty sexy.
What you should talk about:
Hey, how are you, what are you up to (typical first questions)
then get to know him
find out his hobbies, does he play sports, favorite things to do, favorite movies, tv shows, music....the typical stuff

I belive those you say you souldnt call him a full of it,
but to stay hard to get yes i agree
just dont seem to egar wait at least 48 hours or so,
then the rest is simple
BE YOURSELF!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ask him what his likes and dislikes are tell him yours as well.
dont rush in though thats the worst you can do on or off the phone.
