Don't ever take the sleeping pills route!!
1. They will damage your liver big time and you can get into serious health problems.
2. You will get hooked up on them and you won't be able to have a normal life any more if you don't take your pills everyday.
The sleeping pills industry is damaging our health by capitalizing on our ignorance, and by distracting people from effective and natural ways to deal with this problem. I had been taking prescription sleep medications [Ambien] for over 5 years. It stopped working and I simply took more. Still did not work. Nights were very difficult - medication put me to sleep but I would wake up after 2–3 hours with a strong sympathetic response (fast pulse, pounding heartbeat, wide awake alert). It was a very difficult cycle to break. I was really in bad shape due to lack of sleep.
After years of struggling I was able to cure my insomnia naturally and pretty fast. I followed the Sleep Tracks sleep optimization program, here is their official web -site if you want to take a look: http://www.insomniacure.net
Ohhh..and Good Luck!

If you're familiar with hypnosis, then you've no doubt heard of Master Hypnotist Steve G. Jones. His book, "Ultimate Conversational Hypnosis" has been voted as the best hypnosis course ever made. The book is also available in electronic format at: http://www.hypnosistocontrol.net
If you want to get an edge in everyday communication and lead other people towards your goals this is a must read.

Calcium has a natural component that relaxes the body and helps you sleep. That's why it is recommended to drink some milk before bedtime (you don't even have to warm it.) A warm shower or bath before retiring helps you feel relaxed. Then perhaps read a dull book or watch something really boring on TV. Good luck!

Natural is best, so no sleeping pills are good. Try:
Meditation with eyes closed & without moving (take deep slow breaths while imagining yourself at your favorite location, draining the stress out of your body as you slowly exhale)
Read literature (your fav. magazine/book)
Write in a diary for a long time
Take a hot steamy bubble bath
And most importantly, stay relaxed and don't panic about how late it is.

Okay I will teach you how to hypnotize yourdelf. Okay while your eyes are closed and you are relaxed you need to split your brain images. On one half there will be a diall numbered 1-10. On the other half you need to imagine yourself doing something you love.
The dial starts on 10, you are doing that thing that you love. Then it goes to 9 and your family comes over. As it goes to 8 your friends come. 7 comes and it keeps getting funner! 6 And you have having a great time. 5(extra bright number) you are having FUN! 4 you are even more fun. 3 the light goes dim..your friends leave. 2 the light gets grey, your family leaves. 1. black and white,,you are thinking of the great time you have had.
Try to make each number a minute.

What I do is lay down and shut all sounds off and all the lights of. Then relax my whole body and breath deeply. Then I try to listen to one sound outside (crickets, rain, wind, cars anything) Then I close my eyes and before I know it I am alsleep. It works every time for me. Also listening to slow music works well too.

Just don't fight your body. Lay down, get comfortable and relax. If your body wants to stay awake, stay awake but as long as your body is relaxed, you're getting some rest.
