it turns over like its out of gas&starts once in a while but wont stay running,we changed the fuel filter &it wasnt the problem.it has done this before and then started and ran for a long time ,now it wont even start...??

Is it getting fuel to the engine?
It could be the fuel pump. Particularly if the car has been driven a great deal with less than 1/3 tank of fuel. This tends to stress the pump, as there is not enough fuel in the tank to dissipate the heat the pump generates.
One other thing. In the fuse panel on the PASSENGER'S side, (open the door and remove the cover at the end of the dash), check the fuses and make sure that the communication buss fuse isn't blown. The car has several computer modules in it, and if the communication fuse is blown, the security module shuts down fuel delivery, and the car won't stare, or if it does, it will only run for 2-3 seconds then die.

the fuel pump may have went out on it,,have you checked it to see if its getting gas,,if it is getting gas,,try and see if its getting a good fire,,on the plugs,,you,ll just have to start trying the obvious things till you narrow it down,,i hope this help,s.,,i could tell you a 100 things to check but i mechanic for a living,,so i try and answer these questions based on things i have done,,and this is what id do to start finding the problem,,good luck.

Sounds like the fuel pump. Check to see if gas is flowing, if not, then that's prolly it.

check the starter, altinator andbattery and the fuel pump.and the radiator
