negative...Do I assume that the test might have been faulty? could I be pregnant? A condom was used . But I am not on the pill. Or might the stress of not knowing for sure be causing a delay...

And I know condoms are not always fool proof..I have not said anything to the "maybe" father..I don't think he'd see this as a happy time..he does not want any..he has one by his ex wife.

I would take a second test because home kits are only effective after about 14 days from conception. However yes stress, excessive exercise, illness and change in diet can all affect your cycle. The most accurate results you will get will be from a proper test at your GP's

I was 2 months late and took a test that came back negative. Because I was on the patch (evra I think it's called) I didn't worry about it. I took a test again a week later and voila! I was pregnant, so don't ever believe those tests. If you have ANY doubt, trust your womanly intuition and hit a critical care centre for a quick blood test. Better safe than sorry.

Stress can cause you not to have your mestrual cycle. I have went 4 months without mine and it was all due to stress. Maybe try another type of test or go to the doctor's asap.

Try another test. If that test comes back negative then go see a doctor because if you aren't pregnant then something else could be majorly wrong.

Many times a test can be wrong. I suggest going to your Dr. and getting a blood test done. Those tests are more conclusive.

you should go to your gyn and get an exam to be sure, you can get a false negative on a home test, just not a false positive, you could also try a couple more tests too.

Can't afford another pregnancy test or a trip to the doctor?
Grow up, it's not nice to live your irresponsible life at the expense of others.
