Whenever you did have sex, you were ovulating, or was near enough to the end that the sperm and the egg were able to meet. Our bodies can be very complicated and very unpredictable, it must have just been meant to be. I hope you do well.

u probably never had a miss-carriage and the doctors ****** up. When my friend got pregnant the doctor told her that she had had a miss-carriage around 5 mths pregnant and she has to back for a check up and they found out that she WAS still pregnant. I swear to god. but i think she was carrying twins and lost one of them. maybe thats what happend to u. after u have a miss-carriage u dont have your period always. so theres no way to actually tell afterwards there arent that many signs if any at all. but in my opinion i think that your baby was never dead(dont take it the wrong way, buts true)

Generally, it takes a while for your HCG level to decline after miscarrying. It declines more slowly than it builds up. If it is only two weeks since you miscarried, it is quite possible that you are still testing positive because HCG is still being detected. You need to inform whoever performed the pregnancy test that you recently miscarried, and they will likely want to you to have a quantitative Beta HCG to determine the actual level of it in your bloodstream. They will want to retest two days later to see if this number has gone up, stayed the same, or decreased. There is also the possibility that you have retained some of the tissue from the pregnancy, and this is delaying your HCG level declining. If you did not get medical attention for your miscarriage, it is important that you do so now. You may need to have a D&C to remove any tissue that could be left. In any case, you need to see the physician that was treating you for your pregnancy. Although it is unlikely, there is a VERY slight chance you may be pregnant again.

I am not sure! Maybe you really didn't have a miscarriage after all. I know I thought I was pregnant but since I wasn't very far along the doctor said it was really sort of hard to tell. Sometimes they can detect the hormone that indicates pregnancy as it wanes. Someone obviously made a mistake somehow. Good luck, and remember to take those really important prenatal vitamins ASAP ( since the first few weeks are so critical for the baby to get the necessary levels of folic acid) so your baby will be happy and healthy.

Vanishing twin thing is possible. I also think it's possible it wasn't a miscarriage. My doctor thought I miscarried my 14 year old. Two weeks later when I went back, my tests was negative. About a month later, when I didn't start my cycle, I went back and got a positive test again. With sonograms and a post-term delivery less than 8 months later, he determined that I had been pregnant from the very beginning and he had misdiagnosed the miscarriage.

You could have been carrying twins! It happened to my mother-inlaw. (My husband is the product of such a pregnancy) She was only a few weeks pregnant and had a miscarriage. She did not get her next period and went back to the doctor and found out that she was pregnant. One of the twins had died and the other did not, weird I know, but true. When she gave birth, is when they found this out. (this was 43 yrs ago, technology is different) Once she delivered the baby, she had two placentas. I hope goes well, take care of yourself and the baby. Pray alot!! I'll keep you in my prayers also. God bless you and your family on your loss. I lost my first, but I went on to have 4 healthy children. I wish you all the same.

If you were possitive about the pregnancy and the miscarriage then it is likely you were carrying twins and only miscarried one. Also some women have their periods while pregnant.. I knew a woman who had one until she ws 6 months along and I worked with a woman who just went into labor one night and she had had her periods the whole time and only gained 10 pounds. Talk to your doctor to be sure of what happened. Have you confirmed this pregnancy with a sonogram? You need to see a doctor and have tests run just to be sure everything is really okay.

You may have been pregnant with twins. My neighbor just had this happen to her. She miscarried.....then went to the doctor for a scan about a week or more later to make sure she didn't need a DNC and she too was pregnant. That is what they told her.....that one of the twin embryos was miscarried.

How long did you wait to have sex? you jsut said around that period, but was it a few days, a week?
Also, is it possible you were preg. with twins? my aunt miscarried only one of her twins.

It is possible that you didn't miscarry in the first place or that you were pregnant with twins and only lost one child.
