Ipod is just a trend. Soon you will get sick of listen to the same Mp3 on the little head pone. Soon you will miss hearing a good song on the big sound system

im not dumb enough to buy an iPod, i bought the creative zen vision M, and no nothing has gathered dust, well it has, but i still use it alot because i can plug my creative in to my stereo via the USB port, and play the songs from my MP3 player through my stereo speakers

I'M DUMBFOUNDED WHEN I SEE PEOPLE USING MP3 PLAYERS...THEY DON'T SEEM TO REALIZE THAT THEY'RE LISTENING TO THE LOWEST FORM OF DIGITAL MUSIC. IN ORDER TO PUT SO MUCH INTO SO LITTLE A LOT OF INFORMATION HAS TO BE REMOVED (COMPRESSION). IF YOU CAN PUT 200 OR SO SONGS ON AN MP3 ENCODED CD, WHAT DOES THAT SAY ABOUT THE QUALITY?

THE EAR IS DESIGNED TO BE USED "STAND ALONE". NOT WITH SOUND JAMMED INTO IT WITH A PAIR OF EAR BUDS.

TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION, I STILL LISTEN TO MUSIC THROUGH MY HIGH END STEREO (MERIDIAN).

not really. i still use my home stereo way more. i have a massive cd collection and i use it often. i really only got the ipod for travel. i don't take it to work ever. but whenever i fly i always have it with me and for that purpose alone it was worth it.
