I've had both kinds of friends and I definitely prefer the "boring and trustworthy" one. Someone who is fun to be with, but can't be trusted is just stressful. You never know if s/he is going to stab you in the back.

actually no one needs to be boring so if you find a trustworthy friend you surely can pull the best out of them and enjoy time with them.

I don't think you understand the value of friendship. True friends can be fun, trustworthy and much more. Think about it.

The trustworthy one, you can always teach him/her how to have fun. Don't be friends with someone you can't trust.

The boring one, you can do something about that to, by planning surprise adventures and outings. Always talk about how fun it is going to be and what a great surprise. You will be surprised how you can draw them in.

If they are just not too creative with things to do, I can find enough things to do for both of us. I don't need or want to have to watch my back with the people I hang with.
