Both Avast! Anti-Virus and AVG are free, but Avast! is better from personal experience as a technician. You can download avast from this site by clicking http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html and choosing the English version (or whatever language you want!). Easy installation and always updating.
You can also do free online scan from http://www.trendmicro.com or http://www.pandasoftware.com/products/ActiveScan.htm

If you think you have a virus go to www.avast.com or www.avg.com or www.emsisoft and download one of their free antivirus systems.
Avast Home is free an excellent. Or you can try the AVG antivirus free for home use. An at the same time you can back up the antivirus program you decide on with anti-malware program that also protects you from rogue dialers and all sorts of malware from www.emsisoft.com . (Emsisoft will require you to open a free account). They will send you your password via email as it will be your free regisitration key. Just make sure you download the free version

Hi, perhaps you can try Norton or Mcafee to remove the virus, but you should pay for the software.
i also recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar, which can disable the virus, becasue the virus can only run on IE.
firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and spywareware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.
firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

if you have a disk to put in your pc , us that to reformat, on the newer pc there is a partioned part on your drive, start up your pc and when you see a little dash at top of screen press f10 button , if you miss it you will have to shut down and start agian. choose the factory format this will wipe every thing off the hard drive and re install your pc like it was when it left the factory . and you will notice that it will run faster , as you add different programms it will slow down

i've got 'avast anti-virus', it found the virus & asked if i wanted to delete it. now it runs at the bottom of my screen. it was free
