Anyone have any ideas, I think I first noticed them on my teachers and that was that, anyone have any other thoughts on this?

My guess is that you like them because they make a woman's legs seem flawless. They tighten everything up, mask all skin imperfections, and some pantyhose have a nice subtle shine to them. And because women don't wear them that often anymore (it is true- they aren't very comfortable), they also have this old timey sophistication to them. Add the garter belt and the seams up the back, and it is very reminiscent of the bombshells from back in the day.
