Ive posted a bunch of meaningless and sarcastic questions on this site, and alot of them get totally serious answers. Do you tend to do this and not get the pun or joke of it?

The most common scenario for my answering questions is to take a totally sarcastic question and answer it seriously. I know it's being offered as sarcasm, but it often offers an excellent opportunity to make a point. All I'm saying is that sometimes, the respondents do recognize the sarcasm, but they will "play along" if they see an opportunity to make a point.

No I tend to understand sarcasm but sometimes my sarcastic response is to be answer a sarcastic question as if it was serious (this is an even higher level of sarcasm and tends to confuse the begining sarcasm student) (one day young grasshopper you to will be a sarcasm master) BTW anyone seen a Gnome ... He was just here.

I don't I have a great sense of humor just look at some of the questions I've posted, it's all the other haters on here that can't take a joke.......wink~wink!

No I dont because people are people and the reason they are answering like that are is because alot of times they think they are funny. Of course you dont but they do. That is why they answer like that. I wouldnt think they would do it to hurt you. Cause lets face it people dont like hurting people its just not in our nature. Unless they are evil and then there you go.

depends, if i find the question just all about fun and not offending i just go with it but if it something that provokes of some issues, i just don't..some people get hurt
