The written exam? Sounds like you are choking up. The best way to find out if you have to wait a year in your state is to call the Motor Vehicle Department where you live. Next time you go take the test, just relax. Those people administering your test are there to make sure you are okay to drive, not fail you. They really would probably rather see you pass. They only care about making sure you are going to be a safe driver. Don't let them rattle you. Just study the book and relax when you take the test. A friend of mine had to take the driving part of the test 6 times before he passed it, (his mother told me she thought the examiner passed him because he felt sorry for the kid.)

You will shot. No seriously, there's a time interval that you have in order to try again. It varies by state, so check w/ the DMV when you test.

If you fail it three times, you need a year's more practice yes.
