Well tecnically he did not retire he is a free agent but no team wants him so he is just sitting on the free angent market for anyone to pick up basically he is sol. My how the mighty have falen.

He got in a fight with another Cubs player and he demaded a transfer. They traded him to the Orlioes. I'm not an orlioe fan so i don't if he still plays for them or not.
