No. You can create an account and chat with people, but in order to get furniture, you must spend money. I believe it costs 3 dollars to call and get 15 Habbo Coins. I never spent any money on coins and I became very rich. You should try and look for people giving away their furniture.

You have to have a credit card to start, and must pay to buy things so i would say it is probably the biggest way to possibly waste money.
