Depends on what format media you're using. My friend has a dvd player that will only play movies burned on a dvd-r disc. No luck at all with dvd+r. Couldn't tell you why, but try the minus r's, they work.

Of course, this is so that you can make "archive" copies of your legally purchased dvd's, right? :)

Some DVD players will not play RWs. They're touchy little divas.

u can open the movies by the tool bar of the other player
