Most women ovulate on the 14th day after their period unless they are taking like birth control pills, etc to alter their hormones so they won't ovulate. There is a mucus that accompanies ovulation which is sticky and tacky. Are you aware that when the male ejaculates he produces a thick, whitish stuff, aren't you? You need to use your head noggin for something besides a hat rack if you are considering having a baby without being married. Please for the child's sake reconsider this as a possibility. Use wisdom. Get married first. There is an old saying that goes" First comes love, then comes marriage, then you come pushing a baby carriage!" DON'T HAVE THE BABY FIRST!

Here is a great ovulations calendar for ya!

By "think white stuff" on your man/bf, you mean he had semen on him? (***, for short?) Maybe you meant your discharge? Unless that *** gets inside of you, you probably won't get pregnant.

Hmm, I would wait until you two are ready to have a baby before trying to have one. A baby WON'T fix your problems, and that baby DESERVES to have a mother and a father who are married, are financially stable, both have good educations, and are ready to be parents.

You aren't just making a baby...you are making a commitment for over 18 years!!!!!!

So, here's the low down on your cycle: Most people's cycles are 28 days. Start with day one, this is the first day you start your period. Most women bleed for 2-5 days. On day 13-15 what's known as ovulation occurs, which is the release of a mature egg into your fallopean tubes. On day 28, you start your period again. (normally.)

Sperm are viable (can make a baby) in the woman's body for 48 after ejaculation. If you ovulate 48 hours before or 48 hours after having sex, you have a high chance of becoming pregnant.

My BIGGEST piece of advice is this: if you are trying to concieve, it would be VERY WISE to know these things!! Education is KEY. You can just go at it and hope for the best, OR you can get educated and be informed.

Good luck!!

P. S. Here is another great ovulation calender:

well if it was thick white stuff i don't think you was ovulating and pregnancy is impossible, i think maybe the both of you have an infection? if you see thick white discharge and you can't tell if it's your mucus then you need to see a dr. asap! when you ovulate your mucus is watery or egg white and when it's milky it's hard for you to get pregnant but you said thick white stuff so i say it's a infection!

I would say you are too late to be ovulating, you normally ovulate 10-12 days after your period! I dont think that you are but hey every girl is different!

The mucous produced around ovulation should be clear, and stringy (a bit like really runny snot). Thick white stuff does not sound like ovulation mucous to me.
