I would personally rather go out and experience things for my self as opposed to watching them on television.

I watch the news, a few regular shows, and movies on Sunday, but I am not the person that sits in front of the idiot box for hours flipping from infomercial to infomercial.

In defense of TV-lovers, I think some people are just so tired from work, children, and life in general that TV is a good way to relax. After all, not all people have the energy to run a marathon on Saturday after working 40 hours Monday through Friday. :)

They want to have what they don't have. If the celebs are screwed up, it makes some feel better about their own lives. I can not stand celebrity, or reality stuff, it sucks!!
