I recently saw the PERFECT engagement ring at Walmart. It is so what I have been looking for, and alot better than anything that I have come across at Zales, Bergio, Catori, or any of the high-end jewelers. On top of that, it was only like $500, compared to the $1500+ prices I've seen. But what is the exact deal with the jewelry? Fake? real? simulated? What? Please help before I buy it!

The reason it's so much cheaper is because it's from an "unknown," or a not well-known brand. It's real, it's just the name of the company that makes the difference.
Hope that helps ♥

If it was only $500, it was a poorer quality diamond. Diamonds are graded using a set scale of cut, clarity, color, caret. So a excellent cut, no inclusions, colorless, 1/2 caret ring will be more expensive than a good cut, slight inclusions, slightly yellow, 1/2 caret ring. The official report (certificate) that comes with jewelry store diamonds also jacks the price of the ring. The stores also have a higher mark-up than Wal-Mart does.
They can't sell it as a diamond if it is cubic zirconia. They also have to tell you if it is a lab stone. If it's a lab, it's still a diamond, but since it's not natural, it isn't worth as much. If you're on a budget, Wal-Mart, ebay, even pawn shops are a great place to look, and no one will ever know the difference where it came from.

I assume the ring is diamond. Diamonds are rated by the level of perfection, and usually, the cheaper the diamond, the poorer quality. They will be real, if they are listed as being diamond, but sometimes the metal will be a lower quality too. Generally, if you can get a guarantee of quality and it is what you want, then it should be fine.

I think that your best possible bet at getting a quality diamond is to get one at Costco. I'd check them out on www.costco.com if you don't live close to one. A lot of their diamonds are quality diamonds that are half off what they normally would be worth. I even saw a Tiffany's diamond there, which was hard to believe at a cost that was phenomenally good. Plus, if things don't work out, you can always return it...haha. Good luck.

Walmart is cool for house hold items and beauty aids. Not jewelry
keep searching until you find a good jeweler.

In my opinion Walmart isn't a good choice with rings, I personally purchased mine online from Amazon from a store called Universal Jewels. They've got a wide range of jewelry and its affordable as well.

Go to www.walmart.com and check out the jewelry section. And who cares where it came from and as long as you like it, get it!
