My "friends" have decided that I will ride a mechanical bull for my birthday. Word has spread and I have a large group coming to my party now, so I would feel bad backing out.

Does it jar your body a lot and does it hurt when you are thrown from the bull?

I opened my big mouth and told my girlfriend if she could find a bull, I would ride it. There is a night club here in Tempe, Az that has one. That is where we are going.

It depends on two things:

1. Are you a girl?
2. Are you in good shape?

If the answer to 1 is "no," then you'll be jarred and thrown off as soon as possible and you'll kinda look like a tool.

If the answer to 1 is "yes," then proceed to question 2. If the answer to question 2 is also "yes," then expect to ride the bull for a considerable amount of time. The whole point of the bull is to watch attractive girls grind quasi-sexually and undulate. It's like watching a girl dance, except she's seated. Guys like to pretend she's riding something else.

have ridden many real bulls and some mechanical ones. the mechanical ones are harder to ride for me for some reason. i think it has to do with the thing being stationary? it depends on who is running the ride as to whether it jerks alot. it does not hurt to fall off as long as you let go of the rope at the right time. good luck and just have fun.

I've rode a mechanical bull once and it was so much fun!
It dosen't really hurt because theres probably a huge blow-up map that catches your fall. It's crazy fun and you will definitely get a lot of attention.

IT does not jar your body too badly, and you land on a soft mat. (kinda like landing on a bunch of pillows). It doesnt hurt. You will really have fun. The only part to be careful of: don't get your wrist caught up in the hand hold.. Have fun!

How hard you get jarred depends on how the bull is operated. By the way, who is paying for the bull?

yes back in the 80s; as I remember, no there was not a bunch of jarring around and you get thrown into a padded area. No worries...just have fun.

No it does not hurt, I enjoyed the bull, except when you get off you walk wide-legged and if you stay on for a long time your hands have a little pain

I did twice, and I think I did pretty good, I mean 3 minutes, not bad. But well, when you fall, you just fall you know, you have no control over it. It shouldn't hurt, because you have the inflatable ground thing, so it shouldn't hurt, and if it does hurt it's because you landed wrongly.
