Large number of pionts on Yahoo! answers?

Are these people bored? Or just wanna help out? Do they have their own life? Or do they wanna help some other person, make their life better?

None taken. i am bored, i want to help out, I do not have much of a life (besides working), I want to help somebody to make their life better.

I could care less about the points personally I just like answering the questions. Also right now I'm limited being that I'm only supposed to be on my feet no more than 15 min/hr due to a partially torn Achilles so this does help to relieve some boredom because I don't watch much tv.

I asked a guy who had thousands of points but didn't have one question. He said he finds his answers elsewhere where he can trust the info. As far as his answeres he said he just copies and pastes after a little research and gets huge amounts of best answers. Personally, I like the personal touch. These type of people that just copy stuff is raelly, just plain boring.

It is easy to get alot of points here. I spend maybe an hour or two a day here. I am bored with tv, so it is not really cutting into my time for anything else. Once you start getting some best answer votes, the points can really start to add up!

My entire professional life has been in what is known as "the helping professions". Since I have been early retired due to an accident, I have ample time to continue to try to help, but for no money, and without all the professional guidelines I've had to put up with for decades. God Bless you.

I like to help people with similar problems that i have worked through. It makes me feel good about myself to know that I helped them.
