I'm a fan of horror movies, but it's hard these days to find a decent werewolf (or other shapeshifter) movie. Anyone got any great overlooked titles?
I've seen "The Wolfman", "The Howling", "An American Werewolf...", "Wolfen", and "Dog Soldiers".

Ginger Snaps, you have to see it! It's a brilliant and original low budget move. This is probably my favourite werewolf movie, because it's so different and very well thought out.
Also an American Werewolf in Paris, which is great tongue in cheek horror, but still a scary movie and full of gorey bits!

My ultimate favorite is, of course, American Werewolf in London, nothing comes close. Wolf with Jack Nicholson and Michelle Pfeiffer is good too so if you missed that, see it. Van Helsing had some werewolf action in it.
If you're willing to substitute vampires for wolves, The Lost Boys is my ultimate fave.

Other than what's already been mentioned, all I can think of is Wolf, a 1994 movie starring Jack Nicholson.

i liked wolf starring jack nicholson and michelle pfeiffer. it's not a horror movie but it was good.
also underworld 1&2 are good.

"Silver Bullet" has been my favorite since childhood. It stars one of the "Corey"s I can't remember if its Feldman or Haim. I get them confused (not the one that was on "The Surreal Life") and it has Gary Busey.
