Is affirmative action still used today? I think there is nothing positive about it. All it is is a deserving white person losing a job.

No dear, Jews are not responsible for everything.

What about the deserving woman? What about the deserving black person? I have never heard of a Jew getting a job because of affirmative action.

That is a real simplification and distortion of reality. First, Jewish Americans are not responsible for affirmative action. The Congress of the United States passe the law, the President signed it and the Supreme Court acknowledged it. The citizens that serve the people as representatives and people in general are responsible for affirmative action.
The Constitution of the United States in the Preamble states, in part "promote the general Welfare." This Preamble is responsible for the creation of ideas and measures to improve people's life.
You may disagree with Affirmative Action, but it is established law in the United States.

They sure are responsible for most of the destruction in the world but for affirmative action I have no idea. Jews are nothing but nomads who wonder from country to country destroying and taking over. Look at history and see how many countries have kicked the Jews out. No it's not just Germany and Russia.

Most Jews are white. If affirmative action is "bad", then wouldn't it also impact the Jews. Most of today's Jews are of European white origin. And no Jews were not responsible for it, although a lot of Jewish people did indeed support the Civil Rights Movement.

No... Democrats are.

Yes, many affirmative action program and quota are STILL in effect.

No... It's not about a deserving white person losing a job, it about telling another person they can't compete.. against that white guy, who should get the job. Who wants to "win" under those circumstances?

It's damned insulting.

I have heard tell that they would like to do in with whites. I don't know how true, but all I need to do is pay attention to the media to see that someone wants this anyway. There's lots to discover from studying. I've never heard that they are responsoble for affirmative action, but I have heard they are responsible for the NAACP.

No. It was started in 1965 by an Executive Order issued by U.S. President Lyndon Johnson to help African Americans avoid discrimination when applying for college, government contracts, etc.
