In my opinion even if Routh,Spacey and Bosworth (Louise Lane) try their best, the movie`s plot is completely boring and does not bring anything new to Superman`s followers. Do you agree or disagree? Should "Superman Returns" be considered a good or bad film?

i hate to say it, but the concept is dated. clark is such a nice guy and never says anything when people take him for a slacker or clueless. . . but maybe because he knows he has lois through his alter ego superman. . .
you're right - this movie gave us nothing new = nothing to look forward to in a sequel. unlike, spiderman where you can't wait for the next installment.
in this day and age it's just too incredible to believe people can't recognize them to be one and the same.
and now that he has a kid - it's like, so?
hate to say it, but superman has proven to either not be timeless or no longer translate to the silver screen.

I wouldn't say it was bad or good, but it was just there. I slept off alot of times while wacthing it. The action part really did not start till the end and that did not follow. I don't know what is going on in the comic turn movie world we need some new writers. Look what they did to X-men trilogy--crap, and batman returns, no comments. Spiderman did the best so far. When were the good days action was action.

sure the story was on the dull side. and lois lane could have been casted better. there could have been more humour injected in to the dialogue. i was expecting to see over-the-top bold colored costumes from our villain (i know, it's not batman). i appreciate that a comic strip has to cater to the young generation, so the acting and the lines can be quite rigid. i prefer to see this as a classic....comic strip heroes transformed to modern day movie going experience. superman returns is super classic, even though at times it was less than super exciting to sit through.

I think its a GREAT film
the plot is kindof boring but how they acted it out was the gbest
it even made me cry i kno i kno im lame but i loved it
i think the movie shows how much you'll miss sumting once its gone and growing up being different

i really just went to see the spider-man 3 trailer
and after like 40 min of gayness i left
