When they say that it means that they still care about you but not enough to be with you. They want something/someone different, better whatever just not you anymore. Sorry...but that's what it means. Take it from a female and move on to someone else that will make you happier.

Since you mentioned she's your wife and you have kids...do your best to help fix whatever the issues are. Ask her what she's wants, what would make her in love with you again... You've got kids it's worth doing whatever you can to try to work it out. Remember though it can't be only you working on your marriage it has to be both of you. It may be you only at first but if you see she's still not trying then you have some hard decisions to make. Unfortunately you can't make someone love you if they don't any longer. Hope everything works out.

she loves u, cares for you, kinda like u do with really close friends that u've had for years or with family members... basically the fire has burnt out for her, the passion, the giddiness is gone.. the feeling of being on cloud 9 has gone, now, u have a choice.. u can get angry about it.. or u can do all that u can to save ur marriage by trying to bring that out in her again..bring back the romance, the passion, ect..

You grew to be friend instead of staying life partner/lovers.....when she says she still loves you is that she loves you as the father of your kids and probably a best friend...and she respect you ....she could stay with you forever .....but then it would be cheating you both because shes not in love with you anymore

Not easy to answer really. To me there is a difference between "loving someone" and "BEING IN love with someone".

To me it's sort of like, you can love your parents, your friends, your sister, your pet... but it isn't the same as "being in love" with a boyfriend/girlfriend.

To me "being in love" is a bigger connection between two people than just the love between friends and family.

So when someone says "I love you, but I'm not IN love with you"... it's basically just a way to say that you're special to that person, and they still care about you.. but just not in such a large romantic way as before.

And guys say it too ;) not just girls!

You can love someone and be in love with them. One day might come where you are not in love with them anymore as in dating or being married, but since you have been with them for awhile, you will always have feelings for them, as in still loving them. It is normal to still love someone you were once with but not want to be with them or not be in love with them. Hope that helps.
