Interesting question. I would like to ask that question as well. I am not sure, but I've always listened to my heart... although the other person in my involvment says I should make decisions on a combinationof the two. I am close to just being friends with this person now if I look at it this way. It is obvious one of us wants more than a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship, and the other is content with that. A crossroad, yes. So I suppose if your situation is similar (this this question), the question would be do you stay with this person knowing you'll be nothing more than a boyfriend or girlfriend, or do you move on.

If you were really in love any decision you made regarding that person would be made out of love and respect for that person . You would have a desire not to hurt but protect that person and if you have to sit around thinking do I do what my heart feels I should do or should I do something else then you are not really in love.

Both are good to follow. But you need to have a clear mind when making the decision.

Depends on whether there are children involved. Either way, you should follow your mind, because the feelings in your heart will mature and change with time. If there are kids involved, you make the decision based on what is best for them.

This is a very hard question...and hindsight is always 20/20...but personally if i'm *really* in l o v e then i follow my heart (as I am currently).
I don't know your situation thought, you may need to be more specific, unfortunantly some situations can't be answered this simply.
Also, the heart is not only responding to hormonal messages, if it's REAL love, then it's more than that.

Both. You need to first follow your mind in that you need to make sure that that person is the type of person you are looking for, and then you need to follow your heart because you will have to enjoy thier company...for the rest of your life.

like the other person says, it depends on the what the decision is????
sometimes it doesnt hurt for the heart and mind to weigh out the odds together.... ultimately, you will do what YOU think is right for you. It is just the way life is
good luck =)

Your mind over your heart. You need to make sense of the situation and if your mind is telling you other things this will only eventually conflict with the feelings you have with your heart.
