well, the quail will be very tiny eggs, the rhode Island red will have brown eggs, the foghorn will have white eggs, and not sure on the partridge. the eggs will be only be good for a day or so in the heat, so I would not get those, and then from now on start collecting them. Since they are still young birds, they might not be laying everyday yet, but if you have more than one of each type, they could be laying on different days so keep checking... If you ever decide to use the eggs for boiling, make sure that they are at least 2 weeks old so that you can peel them.

I don't know about the quail and the partridge, but Leghorn (not Foghorn Leghorn who is a cartoon character) lay white eggs and Rhode Island Reds lay brown eggs. Pullet eggs tend to be fairly small.

when birds first start laying they are pullets and there eggs are called pullet eggs which can be quite small but they gradully get bigger and in there secound year lay they will get to extra large to jumbo size, they will keep for severall weeks if you keep them in a cool place, but are much nicer when fresh you can tell when an eggs is passed it or off by putting it into a bucket of water if it floats or even comes off the bottom is bad,if you want to hatch any of the eggs thats if you have a cock running with them so there firtile you can only use them up to 14 days as the firtility drops of by 50% after that, they must allso be turned each day untill you put then either under a broody hen or in incubator, hope this is of help

Always start with a topic ou know the other person is interested in and knows a lot about. This way you start off and the other person to your surprise will take over the conversation.
