Lupin because I just like that werewolf thing about him. I like how he has a "furry little problem" and is always genuinely kind to Harry... also gives him some great advice and insight to his parents once in a while. He's extrememly considerate because he always thinks about how his own transformation could hurt others and acts according to this somewhat cursed quality. I wish that he would be Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher again... but that seems very unlikely.
I like Sirius for almost the same qualities and reasons. They will always be there for Harry. Yes, I know. It was too bad Sirius died. I was really ready for Harry to be happy.

I have to say that I like Harry Potter too, because he's so strong, he goes through a lot of things that people are not supposed to go through. His perserverience is a very admirable characteristic to me, and that goes for Lupin and Sirius as well.
It seems to me like all these three characters were thrusted into their situations without their own actions or consent at times.
On a lighter note, I suspect that I share a birthday with Harry Potter. Well, I share one with the real actor anyways.

so many so i guess i can't say just ONE fav. character, so here goes.
dumbledore- an amazing person, truly. he is wise, funny, and really cares about the hogwarts students. i wish i had a headmaster (or anything else for that matter) like him
ron- he tries so hard but never (well..if you convince him) gives up. a dear person, who wants to do well and has so much to work against (a family of accomplishments...friends too).
luna- out there and knows more than she gives light too
hermione- always tring to succeed and prove herself among the greatest in the world (magical and muggle). an excellent person.
so my fav. from above would be hermione and dumbledore- both amazing.

Harry of course! He's the main character and has all the cool strengths in defense and things like that. Hermione and ron are of course great too though.

Umbridge- organic evil, hypocrite ( says she's serious related to the Ministry yet is prepared to apply an Unforgivable on Harry.) Marietta- betrayed the DA Cho- defends Marietta, thank you to emotional and hates Hermione

there are two favourite characters for me
thery are Harry potter and Hermoine.
Harry potter has a talent that he does not know. he saves people. he helps others. he helps his friends.he is a good sneeker. he helps fred and george with the tournament money.
Hermoine who is a clever and brilliant girl. she helps her friends in doing their homework and also in solving the mysteries.

the small troll in the background of the first movie in the bank scene when harry gets all his money... he is almost impossible to see and is only on the screen for about half a second
