okayy i reallly really reallly like this boy. he is one of my friends. i dont know if he knows that i like him or nottt. but i do like him. alot. he talkss to me alot and i want to ask him out but i cant cause i dont know what he'll say. i know he is a little shy and blushes alot around girls .. should i ask him out? what should i say. i dont want us to stop being friends.

Make a point to spend some alone time with him. Go to a movie or go play mini-golf or something along those lines. Do something fun and keep it light so things won't get awkward and there won't be any unnecessary pressure.
When you're alone try to gage how he acts around you. You should be able to tell whether he likes you as more of a friend, if so, go for it, esp. if he's shy, you'll have to make the first move.

Start slow. Ask him to ice cream, or a Starbucks, or a movie at your house when your folks are home. Let him get to know you better and go from there. The main thing is the first get together has to be non confrontational and very public.

If you are over 18, I would advise you to ask him out.
Think of how to ask him out then practice a lot in front of the mirror. When you feel ready for rejection, then ask. Of course you want him to accept your invitation, but be prepare for the worst.

u can write him a letter and tell him to write u back with his answer just ask him if he likes u first then if he says yea then ask him if he wants to go out and no it shouldnt effect ur friendship
