if you are on outlook express there is a box like a rectangle and go to deleted items

Each provider is different. If you have a Yahoo account, just go to the Recycle Bin inside of the account. You should be able to find your message there. That is unless you emptied it. If you did that, I am not sure how you can retrieve it.
