Because boys are not "pretty"...they are "handsome" or "good looking".

I think it's because of human opinion. Looking at nature males are prettier, peacocks, roosters...Actually if you just go with vision males are prettier; it's difficult to move away from opinion with young "specimens", but I'd say usually male senior citizens are definitely better looking than females. (especially when you take away women's make up)

We just are, think about it every girl is pretty, if she is not you can give her a makeover or just change her hair and she is prettier and usually if you do that to guys it doesn't turn out that way.

Girls are prettier then boys because girls care for there appearance more and all that make up females be wearing.Don't get me wrong not all girls are pretty and boys are sexy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL, why are men more masculine then women. I guess it's all got to do with how are roles are shaped as children. As little girls they are taught about keep appearance and being propper. Boys are taught to keep a stiff uppper lip and play sports.

men have to do all the work while women spend all the money he makes on a makeover everyday
thats so freakin frustrating
and men dont even stand up for themselves and say "look lady im sickin tired of you stealing all my money!!!!"
by the way boys arent pretty there freakin handsome if theyre good looking

First off, it's "truly" and "intellectual", by the way.
I suppose the evolutionary reason is pretty girls attract mates and make more offspring, and then since they're pretty males will provide them with a better subsistence, then more offspring will survive to make more pretty offspring. Survival of the fittest.
