You Are What You Eat

The reason is most Americans now face few nutritional or health-related stresses in their youth. People grow most as infants and then as adolescents, and most Americans have avoided disease and eaten enough meat and milk in their youth to reach their genetic height potentials.

More recent studies, done in the 1960s and 1970s have indicated the importance of nutrition to height even more directly.
the children who had received the supplements in youth grew taller and were even more successful throughout life.

When a person receives good nutrition is critical since growth occurs almost exclusively in infancy and adolescence. Humans grow fastest during the first two to three years of life, then growing slows through childhood until about age 10 or 11.

At this point, girls accelerate in height to reach their maximum by age 17 while boys shoot up a little later, reaching their tallest by age 20. One of America's most famous tall people, Wilt Chamberlain, hit a major growth spurt at age 15, when he grew four inches in three months. By the time he started playing college basketball he had reached a towering 7 feet 1 inch.

Growth beyond the age of 20 is rare. But interestingly, late growth spurts are more likely to occur when poor nutrition has inhibited growth earlier in life.

nicely, you're some million/2-a-foot taller than hassle-free, that's especially tall. i'm unsure what you mean with the aid of "too tall"? women persons love tall adult males, and in a woman's eyes, the taller the extra effective, so which you're never too tall to get the ladies. although, being too tall would reason well being issues, yet i think of that as long as you're no longer over 7'0, you should be high-quality. in case you joined the NBA, you does not be everywhere on the brink of being the tallest participant.

My brothers oldest son is 13 and already stands 5' 10" and his mother is only 5'5". SO who knows you could keep growing.

Growth injections dont work, and dont tell a 14 year old kid to get them. . . you should also look at your relatives uncles and even your grandparents on your fathers side, otherwise id say since your moms so short, youd be lucky to get up to 5'10'' but dont let that stop you from playing basketball, just learn how to play big
