What is exciting about Computer Science?

Want to write a researcg paper on the topic of Computer Science and dont have a clue about it and want to write something eciting and new about it.

personally, i find the physics and components of computers the most intriguing.

for example, a transistor that is moving electrons at 3ghz, connected to a board, connected to other transistors and other components, that in the end display something on your screen.

maybe you could write about the history of computers, starting with vaccum tubes, how the transistor was invented, include other components, such as capacitors, oscilators, resistors, etc, and how they all tie together to give us what we all use today, such as email, or your cell phone, or even your car.

then you could theorize about ideas for the future, and how various things will change, like using gas insted of germanium, silicon, gallium arsenide, and silicon carbide to carry currents...

be creative.
