Though I've never met a male named Jennifer, any name can be a boy's name or a girl's name. Whatever your parents name you is your name.

If Jennifer is the name of a boy then his parents played a very mean trick on him. You may have heard of Johnny Cash's song from the late sixties titled "A Boy Named Sue." It was a funny song and a hit for Johnny. But no, I don't think Jennifer is a boy's name. And I've been around a long time, and while I don't know everything, I'm pretty sure Jennifer is a girl's name.

The way people use names today , anything is possible. So you could name a boy "Jennifer" but he would have the same problems as "A Boy Named Sue".

You could name a child "Tree" if you wanted to but it wouldn't be one.
Unfortunately there are an awful amount of people that name their children names they consider, rad,or hip or if their from than, cool. Their trying to prove their different and they have this really hip/rad/cool child.
You have to feel a little sorry for the poor kids,
Jennifer fer Christs sake.
To answer our question, no, Jennifer is certainly not a boy's name and for a boy's sake it shouldn't be.

any name can be a boy name or a girl name. it just depends on if the kid is a boy or a girl. there's the johnny cash song "a boy named sue". i know 3 or 4 guys named Kelly. in fact, many names that used to be guy's names are girls names now-Taylor, Ashlee, and i'm sure there's others that i just can't think of now.

Well, if Apple can be girls name, then why not Jennifer for a boy! But, I'd use a G to make it more manly. Gennifer! Lol...manly!

I guess if you want it to be. The boy might not like it as he grows up and gets teased about it. Kids can be very cruel.
