Today my Honey and I bought six fish to add to our aquarium. We want to make them feel more like pets and not just fish so we wanted to name them. We decided we want to name them disney characters but still aren't sure what to name them, so do you have any ideas with disney characters or maybe even some that aren't disney characters? We have one Blue beta male, two silver fish that are in the family of goldfish and three blue long tailed fish(can't remember exactly what they are) thanks!

how about something like Jasmine (Aladdin) for the blue beta, Cinderella for one silver (cuz of the galss slipper) Prince charming lol for the other silver, and how about hmmm... timone, pumba, and simba for the blue ones! haha lol hope i helped

Poor little fish ... they won't know that you give them a name or not, they won't feel anything about it, on the other hand you can't call them by their name and to expect them to jump out of the tank. But if you feed them properly and keep their tank clean they will be more grateful.
I think naming them makes YOU to feel that they are like pets, because fish can't be cuddled or took out for a walk...
So... if you want desperately to give them a name, give something that matches their species name, so you can remember...
Blue beta -> Betty Blue / oh , it is a male, but doesn't matter
Silver Goldfish -> Silvie and Goldie
the others, as you don't remember their name -> Taily, Tailor, Bluetail, Longtail
Or you can observe them for a while and than give them names that matches their behavior.

The two that are in the goldfish family could be--Wanda and Cosmo off of The Fairly GodParents, The Blue Beta Could Be--Dory off of Finding Nemo, The three blue long tailed fish could be--Rapunzel, Cinderalla, and Pacahontas

I would use names from the Sopranos on HBO.
They would be "wise guy fish" cute.
PS... I hope you don't have the beta in with the others.
They need to have a separate bowl.

2)dopey
3)cinderella
4)minnie (mouse)
5)Mickey(mouse)
6)sleeping beauty
