Why? What kind of websites do you like?

I have written a few websites and I look for:
Simplicity in design
All pages are equally easy to find
Good contrast (without distraction)
Core content is up front and easy to find, extras are later on the page with links to skip to it
Images and sound are preloaded
Video is streaming at a DSL rate
Video can be downloaded at high quality
Frames are used aproprietly
Forms are simple
Drop down lists are used to navigate extensivly
EVERYTHING WORKS!

Make it simple. Don't add stuff just to have lots of stuff. Also, don't change the website later on just because it's been the same site for a year and "needs a change".
