What evidence corroborates official US accounts of 9-11?

Question

What happened on 9-11? I know two planes hit some buildings, but was that all or was there something else? Please, watch the video I provided below before commenting. I want some constructive answers on what may have potentially happened.

I'm still in doubt over the possibilities. It still seems so grossly "out there" that any government would do such a thing. However, there is very compelling evidence in terms of physics, witnesses, and video footage to implicate the buildings were not destroyed by planes but explosive charges.

Disregard all of the potential motives or finger-pointing in this and let us focus on what physical evidence is provided (damn little) by official accounts and what is provided by alternative news outlets (people with too much spare time).

Please, stay on task and let's have at it! Whose right?

EDIT: Now I know not all of you actually watched the video before posting! It's over an hour long, so please take the time to watch it before you knock it. I disregarded the conspiracy theory as wacko before I did. If the implications of this were true, wouldn't it be worth gambling just one hour and twenty minutes of your time to watch it? If you automatically disregard the evidence presented, then please don't post. We're trying to discuss what is shown in the video.

So far we've gotten:
three responses that really have nothing to do with anything I asked, one response that is directly refuted and supported with evidence in the video I provided, and another response that disregards the evidence because 3000 people died.

Just to clarify, I'm not arguing those people died. The only reason I'm concerned about this at all is BECAUSE those 3000 people died! Also, I have no idea why the Monica Lewinsky response popped up. Can you find a Monica Lewinsky topic to post in? That information might be more helpful there.
Is it so hard to answer a question without flaming or completely ignoring the question all together?

I just provided the best researched support for the official story from an indepent source! I just did half the job, now can we have some honest discussion without making accusations on one another?

EDIT #3: I'm sorry for your ordeal, Nick. But before I go soak my head in gasoline, as you instructed, would you mind would you read my question a bit more carefully? I'm not arguing that a plane did not hit any of those buildings. A plane certainly hit it, but what I am arguing is whether or not additional explosives were placed in the building!

If nobody is willing to even read my question and insists that I am somehow denying 9/11, I'll just delete the question. Yahoo! Answers has enough flame wars going on.

Zeppellen, if your primary method of winning arguments is beating people up, I can see why you support police that discriminate against others based on political belief. While you are glad that I have internet access, I am glad you do too. Alright, that PM article has an excellent point on steel weakening with the tremendous heat. However, if anything, it gives support to the theory presented. Tower two was hit second and fell first. It was also an indirect impact (unlike the first tower). Given their similar structural design, wouldn't it make sense the one hit first would fall first, especially if it were a direct hit? Please, correct me if that is wrong.

It takes more intelligence than most people on Yahoo Answers have to talk about this. I didn't watch all of this video (but I plan to), but I've seen it all before.

I don't know what happened that day, but I do know that our government lied to us. I knew that before all of the conspiracy theories started coming out. I could tell something wasn't right when I looked at George Bush reading "My Pet Goat" as people died. He wasn't worried at all. He's too emotionally immature to sit there calmly if he was really surprised.

There's more evidence proving that the government lied than there is to prove that they told us the truth. That leads me to believe they were involved - one way or another.

If they weren't involved - why haven't they found Bin Laden? Why have they stopped looking? The fact that more people aren't mad as hell about this just proves that they are a bunch of followers who are not willing to question authority. We don't even need a bunch of conspiracy theories to question the government on this. The fact that they haven't found, and are not pursuing Osama Bin Laden should be enough to infuriate everyone.

I was there.... 109 floors below when the first plane crashed deliberately into the WTC. I did not see the second plane as I was running for my life from the debris.

The "Official Story" of 9/11 is the REAL conspiracy theory. There is no doubt that the 9/11 terrorist attacks were orchestrated by the criminal elite of the U.S Government. Also, there is no evidence that suggests that the official story is true. The FACTS all lead to the TRUTH and that’s what I'm trying to give you.


A few things to consider:

1. OPERATION NORTHWOODS:

(Early 1960s proposal to JFK that we hijack our own aircraft as pretext to invade Cuba, drafted by the highest-ups of the U.S Department of Defense at the time. When Kennedy saw this document he was appalled and fired then Chairmen of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Louis Lemnitzer. Just a U.S example of false flag terrorism as pretext to further the political interests of the U.S Government.

2. PRESIDENTIAL EXECUTIVE ORDER “W199i":

(Signed by G.W Bush to specifically back off FBI/CIA off Al Qaeda

3. WTC7 COLLAPSE:

(The building that was 300 feet away from the twin towers that mysteriously collapsed onto itself on 9/11. There were buildings closer to WTC twin towers that were damaged much more severely that stand to this day. It was not hit by any aircraft.

4. OPERATION NORTHERN VIGILANCE AND ABLE DANGER:

It just so happens that there were drills ON 9/11 that were carried out by NORAD that simulated planes going into WTC towers and the Pentagon…(There were also drills in London during the 7/7 bombings simulating the same exact event) Coincidence? I think not. This drill also incorporated fake “blips” on the radar screen to indicate the simulated highjacked planes. With this drill going on there were 22 suspicious dots that NORAD could not distinguish from being real or fake. This “well timed” drill confused NORAD.

5. OSAMA BIN LADEN “CONFESSION” TAPE:

This is the only proof Osama was behind the attacks and it obvious the video was manufactured propaganda. For one, even though the video is grainy and of low quality, it’s obviously not Bin Laden. In the video he is writing something on a notepad with his RIGHT hand. Bin Laden is LEFT handed. A gold ring is also visible on his ring finger. Gold jewelry is forbidden for religious reasons.

Osama also said that he never attacked us. He said that it would have been against his religion to attack a group of people unprovoked.

OFFICAL STORY: Fire from within the WTC buildings weakened the steel within the structure causing it to collapse...No building with a steel frame structure ever fell because of fire… Not to mention lease owner of the WTC complex Larry Silverstein said himself that he "pulled" the building...A common demolition term for "demolish".

It takes weeks and weeks to plan a demolition. I guess Silverstein had a demolition team go into WTC7, Analyze the structure, unpack the explosives, set up the charges, and demolish it in about 8 hours. All during the biggest national crisis this generation has seen.

How about all the witness testimony saying they have heard and felt explosions within the WTC towers?
