Ppl normally say.. Oh.. Tom is my best friend... Cindy is my best friend... but how do you really 'classified' ur best friend. What does it really takes to regard them as best friend.

I consider a true best friend, by how they act and the way the treat you. They will be willing to listen to you, but they'll tell you when you're talking to much about something (like when you're talking about the same thing 3 days later). And they aren't afraid to tell you when you're being a b*tch or a jerk. But you can tell them anything, and they will never speak it out loud to another soul - unless it's something that could really hurt you - emotionally or physically...cause then they're only telling because they care about you and want you to be okay. They'd do anything for you...even if it means they don't get to do something or get something as a result. But the key to this is, you have to be the same way. I hope this helps, take care!

I consider a best friend to be someone I can trust and talk to about anything in my life and know they would never tell another person. They call just to see how I am...not just when they want or need something. They are there with a shoulder to cry on and will be honest with you when they think you are making a mistake. A true friend is priceless.

TO call someone a best friend they have to show they trust you and that you can trust them. Show they care and give you a shoulder to cry on and you can run to for help or advise. They stand up for you and tell you when something your doing/ going to do is wrong. They'll always back you up and some might take the blame for you when they had nothing to do with it. That's what i call a best friend and my best friends name is Jenna/ my next door neighbor

I have known my best friend since I was 3. We NEVER disagree about anything important. My other best friend is a girl I have known for only 2 years. We are very close and I think we will get together soon.

I would want a soul mate more than a best friend. Some one who shares my joy and sorrow. Someone who is always there when I needed help. Is not easy to find a soul mate who really understands you and share both your success and failure.

a best friend to me is someone who i know for some time or a long time. someone who is still my friend when things are very good and very bad. who is honest and not judgemental. have a relationship with each other that has grown and is strong because of many challenges and forgiveness.
