Ive had those experiences all of my life.
After my great aunt died, the lights in my Grannys room would turn off and on, things would get moved around, my granny was a very religious christian woman so she didnt like to admit that she was freaked out but she was and especially when my aunts panties were hung up to dry where she would wash them in the sink and hang them up. We never did figure out where the panties came from noone else wore that size and specific kind. There was always the tv turning up and down by itself sometimes change channels, the cabinets opening and things being messed with pots and pans clanging, stuff like that. I saw people out of the corner of my eye and then disappear when I looked directly.
The smell of her perfume, noone else wore. Lots of unexplainable things but nothing that really scared me cause I recognized who it was. One time my sister in law was scared by one in the same house while visiting, my great aunt didnt like her and we didnt know it at the time but she was going through my grannys things. Anyways my great aunt had a great sense of humor and loved sneaking up behind someone and going boo, well thats what she did to her and I never seen anyone come running out of a house so fast. It was hilarious and then we found out about her later. When my Granny passed her sisters went with her. Im sure they were waiting for her they were very close.
There is lots of research being done on this you should check it out.

I've never had a paranormal experience, myself, and the only people I've heard claim to have had them (no offense to anyone who might read this and "has had one"...) are gullible people who will leap to a paranormal explanation without so much as considering alternate possibilities. They don't understand much, and are simple enough to believe that anything they can't explain must not have a logical explanation. So no, I really don't. But I'm open to the possibility that they may exist. I can't say that I know they don't.

Although I never really encountered any ghosts, I do believe that they exists. I see it not as a scary experience, but a confirmation that there is more to life than our earthly presence. As a Catholic, I personally believe that the ghosts we experience are souls in purgatory. After their penance has been met, then they can go to heaven and enjoy never ending bliss.
just my two cents :)

I think it's awesome too. I haven't had any ghost stories happen to me yet but seeing T.V. shows on the discovery channel like "The Haunting" is really breathtaking. Kinda hard to imagine we're not really gone from this earth when we die..I have played with an Ouijii (i think that's how you spell it) board before though. Nothing happened.

Once upon a time.....I was a firm DISbeliever!!!!!
Then, one night (long ago), something happened to change my mind forever. I was visited by the spirit of an old man; the man who built the house I was staying in. He kept talking....and talking..... and TALKING (more like mumbling, really)!!! I was TERRIFIED! Finally, he stopped talking & arose from the recliner he was in, and walked past me as I laid TREMBLING on the couch. I shut my eyes real tight, because I was afraid of what I might see, but I DID hear him get out of that chair, and I DID feel the air as he "walked" past me. I MOVED OUT shortly thereafter!
Let me assure you - this was NOT some dream or hallucination. No, I wasn't high or imagining things! This really did happen, and nothing could EVER convince me otherwise!!! Fortunately, I have never been visited by another spirit again, but I know what I know, and will NEVER doubt their existence again. I guess until you have an experience like this of your own, you can't really be sure - like I said, I didn't believe in it myself until it happened to ME!!!!!!!

Although I myself have never seen a ghost, that doesn't mean they don't exist. So let's just say I do believe in the possibility.

I believe in ghost because my dad has told me real situations that have happened to him. Like one time he said he was walking home and he saw his Aunt in front of the park were she would go to take her children. He said that it really scared him from going outside late at night to friends houses and stuff. My cousin Michale told me that my other cousin Alex saw a ghost in front of their house. Now Alex does not like to go outside either and he also does not like to look outside when it is dark. I hope I never find myself in a situation were I see a ghost. I think I would faint or die from being to scared lol
Ciao
