I am going to be having a baby on May 13th. What would you suggest for the best name; it's my bf's b-day too!?

He wants to name the baby after him if it is a boy.
I want to name the baby TOTALLY different from him!

....You would have to have concepted on August 20th (which obviously is not here yet) for you to be due on May 13th. So I suggest you:

A) Get a new doctor (because if that's what the doctor is telling you, he/she is obviously a quack)

B) Redo YOUR math

C) Stop making things up on a message board and get a life.

I'm about to have a child and my boyfriend and I aren't married yet, we won't be getting married before he is born either, however, he will be having a wonderful, normal life....a piece of paper is not going to change anything. My mom wasn't married to my father (heck I didn't even know him) and I had a normal, happy life and turned out just fine!

If you feel people should be married before having children (although I don't know why, times have changed), then that's your opinion, but remember what they say about opinions....Opinions are like , everyone has one.

Wow, so you're -7 days pregnant? if you have a baby in may you would have to get pregnant some time this month since may is 9 months away and a pregnancy lasts 9 months. Please do the world a favor and don't bring anymore life into the world posessing your DNA. And get married before you have a child so the child can have some chance at normalcy.

I guess naming the baby is really about what you fancy. There will be many people offering options or giving you reasons about why you shouldn't choose the names you like but it is up to you to stick to your guns. The baby is yours anyway! ;)

When I wanted to name my son, Ace, most people said, "Gee, isnt that a difficult name to live up to?"

But I precisely want to set a standard for him to live up to to teach him the importance of doing his best in everything. But that doesnt mean I will expect him to walk since 3 months :)

As for whether to name after your bf, that is somehting you have to decide between yourselves.

Go to babynames.com and search for some that you can compromise on and narrow down your search.

You can start by deciding what letter you want it to be, how many letters should there be and what meaning you want it to reflect.

Maybe you should compromise. Use your boyfriend's name as the middle name and find a good name to go with it as a first name. What's your boyfriend's name?

I like the name Avery for a boy or a girl. We almost named my son Avery. I'm saving it for if we have another baby in the future. :)

just so you know, the due date is probably not when your baby will be born. Secondly, this should be a decision between you and him, not us. third, why are you asking if you should have sex with a guy you've known since you were 8 if you are already pregnant?

If it is a girl, I prefer the name Chelsea. If it is a boy, you should ask you husband what name he would use besides his own name since you don't want it to be that, and then you should use that name.
