I don't know if it was a ghost, but one afternoon several years ago, I was outside, walking in my front yard. I saw a thick mist go across the road, and along the edge of the woods across from my house. This thing traveled a few hundred feet.

It finally entered the woods, going away from me, staying in one misty piece until it was obscured by the trees and I could no longer see it. The mist stayed together, it didn't dissipate at all. I wasn't scared, but I sure didn't want to get close!!!

The whole area was a creepy place to be. I was absolutely thrilled when we moved away.

In case you're wondering, the weather was very clear. No fog. My husband and I both saw it on separate occasions and later at the same time, going pretty much in the same direction.

I've seen the mother of the previous owner of our house walk past me in the hallway. She was transparent, but had like a whitish outline. I could see every detail. From the wrinkles on her hands to the flow of the nightgown she was wearing.

Also both my husband and I both saw another figure in the house. This 'spirit' was very different. It was dark, looming figure. Like a large man wearing a cape and a brimmed hat.We both saw it at the same time passing the doorway while we were watching TV. Also my 21 year old son also said he saw this figure, even though we didn't tell him of our experience. He descibed exactly what we saw.
