About a year ago, I'd visit a website similar to rotten.com where you would just get links for random terrible websites. I can't remember the name of the site for the life of me, but you could do a "roulette" where when you clicked a button, it would provide you with five random terrible sites to look at. It was a blast! Do you know what it's called? Or maybe have other similar websites for me to visit?

Of course they are. This type of site is another way to gauge public opinion and garner information about demographics and psychographics. Consultants for all sorts of companies use these sites all the time to fine tune their strategies for marketing products, services and politicians. Scary perhaps, but true. In this capitalist country so many seem to think is so great, everything from tv shows to toothpaste is researched and catered to the bottom line--all the way down to the font used to warn consumers that their coffee is hot.
