STD's/ VD's are caused by people who are 1) being promiscuous with different people. 2) hookers, male or female. 3) someone is having sex with their partner (husband/wife- ish thing) and not telling them they have an STD. 4) a woman passes it to her baby when the baby is born.

There is only a small percentage of gay people who will bash straight people, rape people, get STD's, and other weird things you read on the news. THAT's why they call it the news, as things like that don't happen very often, and when they do, they normally hit the front page.

I have always used protection when I'm with guys. with girls it's not that much of a problem.
my neighbor is gay and he and his partner are very careful with each-other, as one of them has aids. (he got it from a past relationship) they use condoms and one of them gets tested every month. the other, whom has aids, takes various medications so that his disease is harder to spread.

Have fun.

I don't participate in anal sex with guys so I don't have to use condoms. Frottage means never having to wear a raincoat. As far as women are concerned I only have sex with my wife of 20 years so I am safe there too. G0y is a great orientation.

Protection is important until you are so settled into a relationship, that you're sure that last months test is still good this month because you both truly are monogamous!

I think that everyone should use protection. Even if you go and get tested, if you were recently exposed to HIV, it can take up to six months to show up in a test.

I was in a monogamous relationship for five years prior to meeting my (now) husband; he was celibate for several years and had been tested.
