i like a guy
he's 2 years older than me.
i just met him 3-4 months ago,
but i really like him. alot.
he's shy.
WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO APPROACH HIM AND/OR TALK TO HIM???

Just be friendly. Ask him questions about himself and then listen to his answers. You can practice your questions in advance. Choose questions that begin with "How" "Why" "When" "Where"--things that can't simply be answered "yes" or "no." Take an interest in the things that interest him. Ask him questions and try to learn what he likes about it. Don't pretend to be interested, really try to listen and learn. You may find that you have some things in common and enjoy each others company or that you actually bore each other.

Ask him for directions to somewhere in town, like a movie theater or something, and then ask him for some details... Is it stadium seating, do they keep it cool enough in there, how many screens does it have, etc. See if he gives you informed answers, or just tries to weasel away as fast as he can. If he sticks around long enough to answer some questions, then you should switch to a different subject and just keep him talking. As he gets comfortable with you and you with him, it will be easier to invite him along on an excursion. Tell him you want a tour of someplace he seems to know about that you've never been to.

You could go with the classic "Hey how are you?" or the more mysterious "Do you ever get the feeling that we once knew each other in another world?"

well i think you should just take it really slow and build up a good friendship with him- don't put any pressure on him and let him realise how much he likes you , so much so that he will overcome his shyness in order to get you! Trust me, men like to chase, not be chased. Well most men.
just smile lots and listen to him and show what a nice supportive caring girl you are.

The best way is just to "run" into him and excuse yourself or a quick good morning/hello would do just fine...and take it from there by introducing yourself.
