pencil is good for subtlety, liquid for evening wear or boldness.

using pencil, i usually apply it to the inside of my lower lid--where the lashes are growing. this makes it look really natural, and won't run down during the day. then apply it to the top of your lashes on the upperlid, going from the outer edge, and making it thinner as you get near the inner corner of your eyes.

liquid liner--i still use pencil on the lower lashline, but i apply thin liquid to the top in the same manner.

Okay, I'm so joyful you are asking this! I deliver you a lot credit score whilst utilising pencil eyeliner. You must chill out first. Take the pencil for your LASH LINE. That's in which your lashes meet the dermis for your eye lid. So, very nearly your eye lashes. Of direction, near the attention you are going to be making use of the attention liner on. It's lovely useful after that. Just make a pleasant blank line if you'll, and if that is too tough, then slowly make a line. Even if that imply preventing for a moment and re positioning the pencil. That's how I do it each morning. I particularly wish I helped! Good good fortune, and I recognize you are normally a particularly lovely lady, make up or no make up. Shine on! And once more, well good fortune!

Take your pencil and sharpen it every time you use it (to avoid infection) Close one eye and using a steady hand apply on top lids as close to the outer lash-line as possible. Now look up into a mirror and repeat on the bottom. DO NOT apply on the inner part of your eyelids as this is horrible for your eyes. Then take a Q-tip and smudge it just a little. Try to stay away from colors that don`t suit you, like if you have blue eyes, don`t wear green eyeliner. Same goes for blonde hair and black eyeliner. Hope this helps.

If you are using liquid, do it on the top lashes (above the lashes) if you are using pencil, same thing, but you can do below the top lashes too< for that you have to lift up your eyelid. if you dont want something too overwhelming try a nice shade of brown, or something that will set your eye color off nicely :Blue eyes- brown or gold, Green- try a nice raspberry/purple, Brown- brown or a light purple, maybe even black, hazel- try gold or a dark green.
Hope you find what you're looking for.

pencil is best. liquid is a little more advanced to use. if you don't put on eyeliner right you could look like a clown, so i suggest you go into a department store like macy's and ask a makeup person to demonstrate putting on eyeliner for you for free. since there's no way you can really explain this on a computer.

put it on bottom first, below the lashline, on the lashline, and also in the rim. you should only do rim with pencil though cuz liquid will get in your eye and be gross. then if you want it on top just draw a straight little line. if you screw up just wipe it off and start again. putting on eyeliner gets easier with time and as you decide how you like it best. good luck.

It's like coloring a page. It's the border for your eye. Some put it on the outside, some on the inside. I put mine on the inside. Just pull your lids..pull the lower down and trace along it, then push the upper and line around it. You may have to practice and it will probably make you cry the first couple of times... But you will get it.

try using a pencil with a smudge applicator on the end of it..apply a thin line close to the eyelash while slightly pulling your lid outward..then take your smudge tip and slightly soften the line..it creates a smokey effect to the eye...try light lips with that..looks great..

Everyone always says not on top lid, but I do that because it brings out the color in your eyes and makes your eyes look bigger. If you are age12-14 then I would apply it only on the top lid! Hope This Helps! Good Luck! ♥
