Nascar racers?

What do Nascar racers do when they need to go to the bathroom during a long race?

If they have to go they go in the suit.I don't know if they have something like depends or not.It is a known fact that Tony Stewart missed a post race interview once upon a time because he had more of a problem than just a little tinkle.After the race he went straight to the motor home or team trailer,the media was told that he was sick.Twenty minutes or so later Tony comes out freshly showered and in clean clothes and did some interviews.I mean come on just think about it what else are they going to do? I have heard it said they dehydrate so much that it's not a problem,I don't think that would cause kidney and digestive processes (I'm trying to be discreet here ) to slow to the point of shut down.So if your in one of those four or five hour marathons what other choice would you have .Can you imagine trying to squeeze your legs together and hold it (either one ) and drive a car at 150mph plus for a couple hundred miles.I can't see that happening although it does make a funny picture in my mind.

wow..once again, frightening that this is such a sought out fact.. but anywho, i have answere this queston a couple of times..so i'm going to save myself a lot of typing and paste and copy my earlier response.


the drivers are conditioned.. first, they don't just drink a crapload sunday morning. they hydrate themselves all week long..so their bladder doesn't try to burst during the race. so what they drink on race day is not a shock to their system..
second, most times they do sweat out what they can drink during the race..remember, they don't chug like 80 gallons an hour before the race..
also think about it.. they are in those cars for like an average of 4 hours.. do you have to pee a lot in 4 hours under normal circumstances?? so yeah, people think they are holding it for an eternity, and they really aren't.. they often go right before in the media center before the pre-race anthem and stuff and then if necessary run for it after the race..
if for some odd reason they just go in the car.. the fire suits kind of hide it...but if you ever see a driver douse himself with gatorade or whatever his sponser is that he has to drink before he gets out of the racecar, and it just pooring it overhimself..yeah, it's a cover-up.
very rarely would they have to do a #2..only when they *** sick and won't get out of the car for a relief driver..

They probably hold it. What else coul they possibly do with all the cameras and scanners America would be aware if they had something they used, unless they used Depends or something like that. oooh yuk! Maybe Nascar has a rule that all Drivers have to be able to hold it

Rcihard Petty said it best; Ya gotta go, you just go. He said that more times than not, he had to pee during the race. They sweat so much, it's soon covered up. Taking a dump is another issue altogether.

ever heard of a urinal? and I don't mean the kind against the wall in the men's room. Maybe they also have catheters and/or colostomy bags. there are lots of possibilities....

they sweat so much that they will never have to. i work out in the heat all day long and drink fluids like crazy and won't pee all day

theyre are not allowed to go to the bathroom. they can if they want to lose, but most dont.

if they gotta, they gotta, why do you think tony stewart didn't interview that time he won and was so sick?? he had pee and poop and barf all over the inside and outside of his drivers suite, try selling that on ebay...LOL!!!!
