I looked at this page:

For information and i'd say it should be if it is 3.06GHz, my computer is around 3.2GHz and it runs well (I play games on it too, which don't lag too much).

It depends what you'll be using it for at home, for the net, spreadsheets, word documents, e-mail...etc, it's plenty i'd say. As long as it is similar to this one (this is the one i'm guessing you mean):

Intel Pentium 4 524 3.06GHz / 1MB Cache / 533MHz FSB / OEM / Socket 775 / Processor
(http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1649449)

The processor isn't everything though, you'll need at least 512MB RAM as well. The processor isnt the only thing that will help the speed of the computer, a computer with that processor but a lousy amount of RAM will lag really bad.

Hope that helps! Good luck!

PCIE or... nevermind. make a journey by using "Tomshardware." i think of the present decision is that ATI loves Intel Pentiums and Nvidia loves AMD. you're mainboard can help the two AGP/PCIE pictures enjoying cards; your processor does not make the determination. First: PCIE, or PCI show or AGP. 2 distinctive length, shape, colour, slots on the board. i might say, for the undemanding overclocker to circulate with: NVidia: bigger end. ATI: decrease end. curiously somebody offered them the two. Kinda like possessing all the railroads in Monopoly. have exciting.
