I went directly to the adobe website - did not work. And, no, I do not get an error message.
Thanks for the ideas. Any more?

I'm not sure, but if you are installing it from the Adobe installation page and it still isn't working, maybe try getting Mozilla Firefox:

http://www.getfirefox.com

And installing Flash onto Firefox (go to the Adobe download page again: http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash&promoid=BIOW)
As this Flash seems to be separate from Internet Explorer's Flash. Mozilla Firefox is a great web browser (i'm using it right now) and might solve the problem if you can't get Flash to work in Internet Explorer.

Try installing it directly form the Adobe web site:

http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/

The reason that you may be having problems is that some websites do not properly send you the ActiveX control.

i don't comprehend what Bt internet is, yet you do not desire macromedia to get entry to the internet. If there's a issue loading that disk, circulate get a unfastened replica of AOL and shipment that once which use the unfastened trial to acquire MACROMEDIA FLASH participant in case you like it.
