If your not going to breed your dog then its best to get him fixed.
Its more of a health issue for them. I don't think Elmo is going to satisfy your dogs needs. Besides it wont be long before he moves on to other objects such as your leg. Males love variety. They don;t call them "dogs" for nothing...lol

I would throw it out when your dog is done. I would not sell it at a yard sale, that is just sick.
