I don't think you can classify all smart people as rich, because the way our society is structured, a smart person born in an impoverished area may not have the chances to become rich. He/she may rise out of poverty and become more successful than their parents or siblings, yet, they will not have the same resources to reach the highest social levels in society as children who are born into privileged homes.

It's the people who are smart. They're everywhere. They don't necessarily congregate in one place. If you're looking for something that hangs out together, and never separates from the group, you're looking for lemmings.
