I think if you were at work, one of two scenarios would arise:

1. You'd know it were possible because you've recently been outside and noticed dark clouds heading your way.
2. If your workplace had no windows, someone would get on the PA or email the staff and mention that there could really be a tornado.

Either way, if your company gives a crap about its employees, they have fire and tornado drills and would have a way to signal all of you.

If you're at home, you've probably noticed the skies already and have already taken precautions.

well around here it'd be a problem at about eight in the morning, thats when they test the alarms. I think people would notice if they stopped having that warning before the alarms went off you know the "this is not an emergency, this is only a test" thing. At least one would hope

Well, I guess that would depend on how big the tornado was, where it hit( alot of people or not), and that sort of thing. I guess if a big one hit a well-populated area at that time it could cause a high death rate, I don't know.

You would either be privy to a weather-control system that we, the general public, are unaware of and by posting this you risk persecution and quite probably death at the hands of the volatile agency willing to do anything to silence a rogue agent like yourself.

Or, you are unbelievably lucky.

Or, you are psychic.

I'll watch CNN the first Wednesday of September.
